God Instructed Moses...
verse 2 This is how your are to deal with those who sin unintentionally by doing anything that violates one of the Lord’s commands.
verse 3 If the High Priest sins…
verse 13 If the entire Israelite community sins…
verse 22 If one of Israel's leaders sins…
verse 27 If any of the common people sin…
You see sin touches everyone, from the greatest to the lowliest of us.
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God….
Yet, God, because of His great love for us, has provided a remedy.
Isaiah 1:18 “Come let us reason together says the Lord, ‘Though your sins are like scarlet they shall be white as snow. Though they are red like crimson they shall be as wool.’”
He invites us to come just as we are with our sin.
He invites us to trade our sin for righteousness.
Sin demands a prices, it must be acknowledged and atoned for.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.
Jesus paid that debt – His blood covered the penalty
He came to pay a debt he did not owe because we owed a debt we could not pay
May we be women who take hold of God’s promise to:
May we not walk another minute with the stain of sin and the separation that it causes.
1 John 1:9 if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to and will forgive us from all unrighteousness.
